Nevada Regional Medical Center is recruiting a Director of Human Resources. The position reports to the CEO and supports the executive team with all matters pertaining to recruitment and human resources. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, self-motivated and charismatic professional. They will lead key human resources initiatives, help cultivate high employee engagement and maximize retention of staff.
NRMC is a municipal hospital in the state of Missouri that is governed by a 9 member Board of Directors. It employs over 400+ staff members and contract professionals. The organization operates several clinics and provides inpatient, emergency and outpatient care in the hospital.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading recruitment and onboarding efforts
- Providing guidance on HR policies and employment law
- Managing benefits, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and employee records
- Supporting performance management and professional development
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in rural healthcare.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
