Description
Pay: Base Wage starting at $15.15; increased based on experience
Incentive Eligible Position: Yes
Summary of Duties: Directs patients and gives information regarding the hospital and its services
Essential Functions:
1.Actively engages with patients providing customer service and direction.
2.Communicates effectively with other staff and family.
3.Actively uses personal protective equipment to prevent the spread of any communicable viruses.
4.Positively impacts the patient experience at Nevada Regional Medical Center through enhanced clear, respectful, and effective communication skills.
5.Provides accurate simple to follow directions to patients and family members so they can reach their destination in the hospital in a timely fashion.
6.Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:
1.Exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors.
2.Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.
Physical Demands:
1.Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 12 hours or longer per workday.
2.The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
1.High School diploma or GED
2.Customer service experience encouraged
3.Must complete required training for all NRMC employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Healthcare experience preferred.
