The representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience and maintaining effective communication between patients and healthcare staff.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve patient complaints or issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist our customers who are physically unable to walk by providing wheelchair transport. Physical requirement to push/pull 300 plus pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in a healthcare setting, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
