Summary of Duties:
We are seeking a Materials Management Manager that provides indirect patient care and observation in a hospital setting. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records concerning ordering, receiving and payment in a timely and cost-effective manner. What you will do: Establish and maintain levels and controls of your supplies and equipment. Be responsible for purchases, utilizing purchase orders and checking received orders for accuracy and completeness. You will prepare goods for return as appropriate and responsible for shipment of all goods. Establish and maintain PAR stack levels in all areas, with the cooperation of your staff members. Maintain knowledge base and utilization of contract pricing by keeping it current. You will coordinate and participate in biannual inventory Process account payable, matching billing invoices, coding and processing in conjunction with your Business Office Manager. You will confer with your physicians and nursing staff on special products or equipment needed. Manage department personnel.

- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Mathematical skills needed to mix cleaning agents appropriately in accordance with the prescription of the manufacturer
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors.
- Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.
Physical Demands:
- Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per day.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 to 5 years experience.
