The HR Generalist supports daily human resources operations with an emphasis on employee benefits administration, HRIS data management, and regulatory compliance in a hospital environment. This role assists employees and leadership with HR policies, benefits, and leave administration; supports employee relations and performance management activities; tracks employee licenses and certifications; maintains accurate and confidential employee records; supports audits and reporting; and serves as backup support for payroll processing as needed.

Essential Functions:
1.Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns.
2.Support employee relations by addressing issues, assisting with investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution.
3.Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, leaves of absence, and employee education.
4. Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, corrective action, and employee development.
5. Manage leaves of absence, including FMLA, workers’ compensation coordination, and return-to-work processes.
6.Educate employees and leadership on benefit offerings, policies, and wellness initiatives.
7.Maintain accurate benefits data within the HRIS and benefits administration systems.
8.Support HR leadership with benefits analysis, renewals, and vendor communications
9.Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, corrective action, and employee development.
10.Enter new hires, job changes, and terminations into the HRIS accurately and timely.
11.Track, verify, and maintain employee licenses, certifications, and credentials in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
12.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
13.Support HR audits, reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
14.Serve as backup support for payroll processing, as needed.
15.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.Human Resource experience.
2.Healthcare experience preferred.
